The Brisbane Girls Debating Association will be holding a Special General Meeting (SGM) to vote on a large number of constitutional amendments and elect a new Secretary. We will also be holding an information session after the vote for interested schools, teachers and adjudicators. If you are interested in participating in the BGDA competition in any of those capacities you are encouraged to attend.

Where: Brisbane Girls Grammar School - Bain Staff Centre (Top floor)
Who: Adjudicators, staff, graduating students, parents and friends of the Brisbane Girls Debating Association
All members of the BGDA will be able to vote in the SGM. This includes but is not limited to:
a) Executive members
b) School representatives
c) Adjudicators (who have participated the past 12months)
PLEASE NOTE: You may become a member of the BGDA by filling out the form on this website under the 'Members' tab
The proposed constitutional changes are detailed in the attached document which includes Editors notes. For your reference these changes have been repeated in a 'tracked changes' version of the constitution and a current copy of the constitution is as below.
