Central Development Day

DUE TO LOW NUMBERS OF REGISTRATIONS WE'VE UNFORTUNATELY DECIDED TO CANCEL THE 2025 CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT DAY

Central Development Day 2025:  

Central Development Day is a brilliant way for students in grade 7 to 12 to brush up on their debating skills for the 2025 season. It is suitable for debaters with all levels of experience, giving participants the opportunity to receive training and feedback from some of Queensland's most experienced adjudicators. 

Registration for this event is totally free, with the BGDA's generous sponsors covering the costs of all meals and adjudications. 

Schedule: Saturday 31st May 2025 at Brisbane Girls Grammar School.

9:00 - 10:00am: Workshop
10:00am -12:15pm: Topic release and debate 1
12:15pm - 1:00pm- Lunch (provided by BGDA)
1:00pm - 3:15pm - Topic release and debate 2
