Central Development Day

Central Development Day 2026:  

Central Development Day is a brilliant way for students in grade 7 to 12 to brush up on their debating skills for the 2026 season. It is suitable for debaters with all levels of experience, giving participants the opportunity to receive training and feedback from some of Queensland's most experienced adjudicators. 

Registration for this event is totally free, with the BGDA's generous sponsors covering the costs of adjudications and training. 

Schedule: Saturday 28 February 2026 at Brisbane Girls Grammar School.

9:00 - 10:00am: Workshop
10:00am -12:15pm: Topic release and debate 1
12:15pm - 1:00pm- Lunch (provided by BGDA)
1:00pm - 3:15pm - Topic release and debate 2
