- The draw for Round 1 is now up under Competition > Draw
- As there are an uneven number of teams in the Grade 10 and 11 competitions, one team from each of these year groups will be debating each other every week. This will be considered a social debate, meaning that both teams are granted 'wins'. It is designed to give the girls the maximum number of debates
- The topic theme for Round 1 will be 'Law and Politics'. Round 2 will be the ‘Surgical Performance Round on Doctors and Healthcare’, kindly sponsored by Surgical Performance.
- Each school will need to have a supervising adult present at the competition, not only for safety reasons, but as a contact. This person can be a parent, coach or teacher, but has to be at the school from 4.30pm with the girls.
- All schools should have received invoices from Dan Gibbons, our treasurer. If you could pay these before Round 1, that would be much appreciated.
- Round 1 will be held at Brisbane Girls Grammar School, with prep starting at 4.30pm, debates starting at 5.30pm and adjudications finishing by 7pm. Girls should be there from 4.20pm at the latest
